Preparation
- Season the beef with salt and pepper
- Fry the beef in 3 batches in a hot pan until browned, approx 3-4 mins per batch
- Set the beef aside, then fry the onion and garlic
- Return the beef (and juices) and add the remaining ingredients
- Cook gently with a lid for 60-90 minutes
