Preparation
- Season the beef with salt and pepper
- Fry the beef in 3 batches in a hot pan until browned, approx 3-4 mins per batch
- Set the beef aside, then fry the onions and carrots
- When the onions are browned, add the bay leaves and the garlic and fry for around 30 seconds
- Stir in the
tomato purée and cinnamon and cook gently for another 2 मिनट - Return the beef and stir in well
- Add the red wine and then the chicken stock
- Cook gently with a lid for around 45 मिनट
- With 15 minutes to go, cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente
- Drain the pasta and stir into the mix along with the parsley and stir
- Cook gently for final 10 मिनट
