Preparation
- Melt the butter (approx 2 mins in a microwave)
- Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until they form a smooth medium-thick batter
- Ladle onto a waffle maker or waffle iron (follow the instructions with your device)
- Cook for around 5-6 mins. It is usually best not to open the waffle maker/iron early as this can tear the waffles
- Serve with icecream and chocolate sauce
Notes
- Halve the sugar for a more savoury version
- Can also be served with fruit toppings, honey, maple syrup, crispy bacon, and more
