I love curry and this South African recipe is perfect as my better half likes it too
Preparation
- Finaly dice the onion
- Fry the onion, star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, fennel and cumin in the 120ml oil
- Finely chop the tomatoes
- chop the potatoes and chicken into 3cm cubes
- crush the garlic and finely chop the ginger
- Add all of the remaining ingredients except the bread and simmer for around 45 minutos
- Cut the loaves of bread in half and dig out the soft bread from the inside
- Ladle the curry into the hollow loaves and serve with the scooped out fresh bread on the side for dipping
