This recipe was originally entirely in US volume units (e.g. cups). After measuring each ingredient I have converted it to modern units

Preparation

  1. Add the ingredients into a mixing bowl (I recommend putting the eggs in first in case you get any shell in)
  2. Mix well until a smooth batter forms
  3. Pour into 2 lined and greased 20-25cm cake tins
  4. Bake at 160°C (fan) on the middle shelf for 40-50 mins
