Onion and Tomato Pasta Bake

Preparation
- Cut the onions into thin slices and fry in the oil on a medium-low heat to soften 15-20 mins (the longer the better)
- Cut the bacon into 2cm squares and add to the pan, turn up the heat to medium
- Stir in the garlic-ginger paste and cook for another minute
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and stir for 1-2 mins to brown slightly
- Purée the tin of tomatoes then stir in
- Add the chicken stock and water, bring to a boil, and then stir in the pasta and simmer for approx 10 mins
- Once the pasta is cooked stir in the balsamic, dark soy, chilli pasta and dark sugar
- Turn off the heat and serve
