Quick and simple dish based on char siu pork

Preparation

  1. Cut the char siu pork into small pieces
  2. dice the onion
  3. Cook the rice in boiling water, then strain
  4. Gently fry the onion on a medium heat until well softened - approx 10 mins
  5. Add the garlic-ginger paste and stir well for 30-60 seconds
  6. Add the peas and sweetcorn and cook 5 mins
  7. Stir in the pork and cook for 2-3 mins
  8. Stir in the strained rice
  9. Pour over the sauce, turn off the heat, stir well and serve
